Do not feed the animals. They are fed a specific diet daily for each species and individual.
Do not knock on the windows, shout or provoke the animals. It may bother and prevent them from showing their natural behavior.
Do not cross the protective barriers limiting green areas and animal habitats as they ensure both your safety and the safety of the animals.
Do not throw trash on the floor. Place the waste in the appropriate containers spread throughout the Zoo.
Failure to comply with the rules in force may lead to the visitor being expelled. Keep your ticket until the end of the visit.

Is it necessary to make a reservation in advance?
There is no need to make a reservation to visit the Zoo. However, you can buy tickets in advance to avoid queues.
For group visits, prior reservation is mandatory.
What are the opening hours?
From April to September: 10am – 6:30pm
March and October: 10am – 5:30pm
From November to February: 10am – 4:30 pm
Zoo Santo Inácio is open every day, with the exception of January 1st and December 25th.
Is there a parking at the Zoo?
The Zoo has an outdoor car parking space, free and easily accessible. The parking has 4 electric charging stations you can use.
The parking opening hours are the same as those of the Zoo.
Are Meetings with the Zookeeper included in the Ticket price?
All daily activities are included in the ticket price.
Where can I eat?
Zoo Santo Inácio has several spaces where you can have lunch or a snack peacefully and surrounded by nature:
Zoo Restaurant for hot meals. No reservation required.
Lake Bar for snacks and quick lunches. Here you will find a microwave available to heat baby food.
Picnic Park, a space with tables where you can enjoy meals you bring with you. This space contains lockers (subject to availability) where you can store your belongings. If you intend to use the lockers, you must bring a padlock with you or you can buy one at the Zoo Store or Restaurants/Bars.
Along the entire route you can find several Bars with cold drinks, coffee and ice creams.
You can bring food and lunch boxes into the Zoo grounds. You must enjoy the meals you bring with you at the Picnic Park. This space has lockers (subject to availability) where you can store your lunch boxes. To use the lockers, you must bring a padlock with you or you can buy one at the Zoo Store or Restaurants/Bars.
Note: Picnics are not permitted at the Restaurant and Lake Bar spaces. In these two places, you can only enjoy meals that have been bought there.
Is there a specific space to place luggage or other belongings (e.g. lockers)?
There is an area with lockers in the Picnic Park where visitors can store their belongings and enjoy their walk more comfortably. Lockers are subject to availability and reservations are not possible. To use the lockers, you must bring a padlock with you or you can buy one at the Zoo Store or Restaurants/Bars. The Zoo is not responsible for any theft or material damage.
I want to visit the Zoo on my birthday, do I get a discount?
All birthday visitors will be entitled to a 50% discount on the daily ticket price.
Conditions for accessing the discount:
Discount applied only to the ticket of the birthday person, valid for all ages.
Presentation of the Citizen Card of the birthday person is mandatory.
50% discount on the ticket, applicable only on birthdays.
Discount applied to the current price list, not combinable with other promotions.
Promotion valid on purchases made at the Zoo Ticket Office.
Are there nappy changing tables at the toilets?
The bathrooms have nappy changing tables. These spaces are duly identified on the Zoo Map, which you can see here:
Is the Zoo adapted for people with reduced mobility?
The park is equipped with ramps along the route and adapted toilets.
The Zoo also offers a special price for people with reduced mobility and/or disabilities: €3.
Can I bring my pet during my visit to the Zoo?
Only guide dogs are allowed to enter the Zoo.
After entering the Zoo, can I leave and re-enter?
If you wish to leave the Zoo and re-enter, you must request the Security Guard at the entrance to the park to be allowed to exit the premises. Later, to re-enter, you must go back to the Security Guard so that he can check your entry.
Re-entry is only valid for the day of the visit.
How does the ZooCard work?
The ZooCard is an annual card that allows unlimited visits for a period of 1 year, as well as exclusive advantages in some services – it can be renewed annually.
I want to offer a ticket to a family member/friend, how can I do it?
To offer a visit to the Zoo, simply buy the tickets online here. You will receive the purchase invoice and tickets in separate emails. You can later send the tickets in digital format – their price is not visible – to your family member/friend.
