Saddlebill: a great breeding success story for the Zoo

Two more Saddlebill chicks have been born at the Zoo.

Zoo Santo Inácio was the first EAZA Zoo and the second park in Europe to successfully breed the Saddlebill (Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis), actively participating in the EAZA ESB Programme, which represents an important contribution to the conservation of this species.
