From South Portugal:

  • Take A1 or A29. Continue onto A20/IP1 (signs for Porto/Freixo/Gondomar/A3/Braga).
  • Take the exit toward N222/ Castelo de Paiva/ Avintes. Merge onto N222 direction Avintes.
  • On the N222 go straight up to a roundabout.
  • Turn left after the gas station.

From North North Portugal – Valença:

  • Take A28.Take the exit onto A20/IC23 toward A3/ Braga/ A4/ Vila Real.
  • Continue to follow A20. Take the exit toward N222 toward Castelo de Paiva, direction Avintes.
  • On the N222 go straight up to a roundabout.
  • Turn left after the gas station.

From North Portugal – Vila Real:

  • Merge onto IP4. Keep up to A4 ( Highway toll partial). Take the exit onto A3 towards Porto/A1/Lisboa.
  • Take the exit onto A20. Take the exit toward N222 toward Castelo de Paiva, direction Avintes.
  • On the N222 go straight up to a roundabout.
  • Turn left after the gas station.

How to get there by subway

  • Take the yellow line (towards St.º Ovídio) and leave at João de Deus station.
  • Go to Rua Pádua Correia, near El Corte Inglês, and take the MGC bus to Quinta das Oliveiras.

If you leave the train in S. Bento station or Campanhã station:

  • Take the Metro do Porto yellow line (towards St.º Ovídeo) and leave in João de Deus stop.
  • Go to Rua Pádua Correia, near El Corte Inglês, and take the MGC bus to Quinta das Oliveiras.

If you leave in Devesas station or General Torres station:

  • Go to Rua Pádua Correia, near El Corte Inglês, and take the MGC bus to Quinta das Oliveiras.
